Good Times in Tokyo

See what happens when people stop being polite and start getting oolong'd.

Rainy-esque Days

Today was my reharsal or whatever nonsense for this speech contest. I thought that by rehearsal they meant that I would just practice getting up to the stage or something like that. But no, they wanted me to read my speech in front of a bunch of people. Needless to say, it was crap. I felt the judging eye of every single person in there. At the end, instead of clapping they just stared at me. Not a good sign. But I think it was just because I accidently ended the sentence with an innotation that sounded like I was about to continue. The actual speech contest should be fun.

Today in one class we were actually talking about the final test. Which is pretty exciting, it means the University of Wanky Bollocks is almost to an end. I think my last test will be on July 13th. Not really sure if they will make us come to Uni after that. Which is coming up pretty soon really. Well really soon in the context of a year.

Even though it's the rainy season, it's not really too rainy. I'm not complaining, in fact I like it. But for the last two months, everyone has told me on a day that it is raining, "this is just the beginning, rainy season will continue now for a month straight". Then after saying that, it usually stops raining the next day. Hopefully I will get the one freak year in Tokyo history where it doesn't rain a month straight. A week is bad enough.
