Another Suicide

This must be some sort of suicide season in Tokyo because another suicide happened on the Keio line on Saturday. Once again whilst I was riding the train so I has a 30 minute delay. I know I should be sympathetic to whomever lost their live and their family's sorrow, but that person is really selfish to do that. I mean the emotional trauma probably experienced by the train driver is enough. Let alone the price the family has to pay the train company. And then this morning there was an announcement about another suicide on a train line, this time not the Keio line. Must be like a peer pressure thing.

I noticed the other day was the 1st, which means I have 2 months left. So much to do but so little time.

I have a Japanese movie called "Suicide Club" which centers around a series of suicides, as though it were the common fad.

Tsk tsk. I suppose the admonishment, "if your friends jumped off a bridge, would you do it too," wouldn't work on these kids.

interesting. suicide is a tricky thing. i suppose if i were going to go i wouldnt make it so public. too messy. and chances are my family would find out because of a news report instead of just finding me. that would be too much for them.

    sorry your train was late.
